Nigel Farage says the backlash against a Brexit in name only will be “unlike anything we’ve seen for a long time”. Speaking on the BrexitCentral podcast, he said Tories should have one last push to remove “a dishonest, deceitful Prime Minister” in favour of a leader who believes in Brexit. The former UKIP leader said if the trust that people had put in the democratic process turned out to be misplaced, then politicians should “prepare for the backlash” which “may be unlike anything we’ve seen in this country for a very, very long time.” Mr. Farage said he would seek to return as UKIP leader in March if Brexit was not being delivered, despite claiming it was an “appalling” job.
