Drusilla Summers joins BrexitCentral

Drusilla Summers joins BrexitCentral

We are delighted to announce a new addition to the BrexitCentral staff: today Drusilla Summers joins our team of Deputy Editors.

During the 2016 EU referendum, Drusilla was a Co-ordinator in Swindon for the Vote Leave campaign, where there was a 55%-45% vote in favour of Leave on a turnout out of more than 75%.

She comes to us from a role in project governance, but is no stranger to the political world, having founded Conservatives for Mental Health and been a local council candidate. She has also written in the past for BrexitCentral, having penned this piece in March explaining why EU bullying and Tony Blair’s patronising interventions reaffirmed why so many people voted for Brexit in the first place.

She is also a long-standing animal welfare campaigner – and when not campaigning, can be found indulging in her love of sci-fi, with a good cup of tea.

Do keep an eye out for Drusilla’s first BrexitCentral email briefing on Sunday – and if you are not already subscribed, you can do so by clicking here.
