Major General Tim Cross CBE (Retd) is a former Director General of the UK Defence Supply Chain. He served in the first Gulf War in 1990/91 and in Iraq in 2003, as well as three times in the Balkans, including Kosovo, and Northern Ireland. He was the General Officer Commanding, Theatre Troops – one of the three Divisions of the UK Field Army – and latterly the Army adviser to the House of Commons Defence Select Committee.
