Geoffrey Sloan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading. He previously held posts at the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, and St Antony’s College, Oxford. His latest book titled Geopolitics, Geography and Strategic History was published by Routledge in March 2017 and won the Stratfor Prize for Geopolitical analysis in October 2017.
